| Team Competion rules and regulations |
| 1. Teams must be identified prior to the start of any competion and before the Black Belt meeting. 2. Teams consist of 4 individuals, any rank or gender. 3. Team members are identified and their competition results are recorded at the staging area by duly assigned individuals. Points for form and fighting are used for calculating the team scores. Should a tie occur, then weapon form results will be added into the score. 4. The team with the most points at the end of the day will be declared the winner. A team trophy will be awarded to the team as well as individual trophies for each team member. 5. Scoring will be done in the following manner. A win will award 2 points, 2nd and 3rd will be awarded 1 point each. So for example, let's look at SikaranVT team 1. This team consists of 1 SANDAN, 1 NIDAN, 1 6KYU and 1 10KYU. Sandan is competing in Advanced Balck Belt, Nidan is competing in Junior Black Belt, 6KYU is Intermedeiate and 10KYU is Beginner. Sandan is 3rd in form and does not fight. Nidan is 1st in form and 2nd in fighting. 6KYU is 3rd in form and 1st in fighting. 10KYU is 1st in fighting and 3rd in form. Points are given in the following manner. 6 points for wins, 1 point for 2nd place, 3 points for 3rd place. Total points for the team are 10 points. Win Points = Nidan 1st in forms, 6kyu 1st in fighting, 10kyu 1st in fighting. Total 6 points. 2nd Place = Nidan is 2nd in fighting. Total 1 point. 3rd Place = Sandan 3rd in form, 6KYU 3rd in form, 10Kyu 3rd in form. Total 3 points. Team SikaranVT2 is awarded 9 total points for the day, team 1 wins the competition. 6. Since there is no additional requirements for the teams to compete, there should be no hold up in completing daily competiotion. We anticiapate a fun and surprising competition with no additional resources or time required for the team competition. |
